All of these groups have been around for at least over a year and have each grown a pretty solid fan base, although all of them (except for maybe TXT) are by far more popular internationally. My final verdict is as follows: Ateez -> (TXT ->) NCT -> Stray Kids Reasons for this ranking: Ateez Ateez debuted by the end of 2018 from a company nobody has ever heard of before: KQ Entertainment. Still, they managed to gain an insane amount of popularity (internationally) compared to other (relatively) new groups from the Big 4 (I'm counting bighit in. BTS is way too big not to acknowledge that, and if bighit were to debut more groups then just TXT right now (such as a girl group), I believe they might even take the top spot of Korea's entertainment companies. But this is not important right now, so nvm).  I know that they are more popular internationally and that it will undoubtedly take some time for them to grow in Korea, but they are on the rise. Gen Z's like me can relate to kpop idols in a lot of ways. Gen Z's are people born between 1997 and 2012.  I was born in the year 1999, so I'm in this band. They write songs of hope, compassion, and other optimistic feelings for us to thrive as humans and grow up to be healthy adults with better jobs. Many kpop stars, like any of us, had it tough. As a consequence, we can relate. Gen Z, in my experience, has it tough.  Here are my three reasons: 1) Social media standards We are the tech generation, so I'd say about 3/4 of us have a smartphone that helps us to access social networking sites like Snapchat, Twitter, and Instagram. It has taken over our lives. Some of the girls I know at school want to keep up with the new trends to be "famous" and "liked."
